LOS ANGELES, Calif., March 8, 2017 – Beverly Hills Sports Council (BHSC) announced today that Josh Borkin joined the agency as an MLBPA Certified Agent. Borkin brings over a decade of experience managing the careers of Minor and Major League Baseball players with a wide range of expertise in salary arbitration, contract negotiation and securing autograph and equipment deals.

“We are pleased to add Josh to our team of MLBPA Certified Agents at BHSC,” said Danny Horwits, President and Partner of BHSC. “Josh’s focus on serving clients’ needs coupled with his technical knowledge regarding the salary market gave us the opportunity to add someone who shares and exemplifies our core values for what it takes to provide effective athlete representation.”

Borkin, who is based in Miami, will contribute to BHSC’s elite representation to expand recruiting efforts and the company’s impressive client roster.

“I couldn’t be more excited to continue my career with the best agency in the game,” said Borkin. “In such a short time, I have been blown away by the professionalism and expertise of all our agents and staff. It’s truly an honor to be part of the BHSC family.”

Borkin began his career as an agent in New York City, shortly after being admitted to the New York Bar in 2006. He earned his law degree from John Marshall Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
